To work out a car's performance over 10 years it is put through a trial tunnel where, in the briefest period of time, all the possible problems it could encounter in the aforementioned period accumulate.
It is a process of acceleration through which the car's wear and tear and weak points are discovered without the need to wait for real time to pass.
This procedure resembles that which is carried out with other products, as well as with diverse species of animals.
