Vidas y muertes de Buenaventura Durruti, anarquista was filmed during February and March 1999 at La Cúpula, the rehearsal space Els Joglars have in Pruit. The documentary reflects the working system of the company following the creative process used to recreate the character of Durruti and the historical circumstances that surrounded him and of which he was the protagonist.

Directed by the French film-maker Jean Louis Comolli, responsible for six fiction films and a score of documentaries.

Vidas y muertes de Buenaventura Durruti, anarquista was presented at the Festival Internacional de Cinema de Valladolid, outside the competition, within the Tiempo de historia section.
