He
has been part of Els Joglars since 1986 when he joined the
company as stage manager and technician, participating in the creation
and subsequent tour of Bye, bye Beethoven (1987). He later
worked as an actor in the productions Columbi Lapsus (1989),
Yo tengo un tío en América (1991), El Nacional (1993)
and Ubú President (1995). as well as the Els Joglars television
series: Som 1 meravella (1988 TVE), Ya Semos Europeos
(1989 TVE), Orden Especial (1991 TVE) and ¡Vaya día! (1995
Canal Plus).
Since 1996 he has been the company’s production director. He
directed the production of the works La increïble història
del Dr. Floit & Mr. Pla (1997), Daaalí (1999)
and La trilogia (2001). ). He also participated in the production
of the feature-length film by Jean Louis Comolli Vidas y muertes
de Buenaventura Durruti, anarquista (1999), starring the actors
of Els Joglars.
Similarly, he organised and produced the celebrations marking the 40th
anniversary of Els Joglars in Barcelona and Madrid, featuring the performance
of Breu crónica de la guerra dels 40 anys (2001-02).
He participated in the preparatory work for the publication of books
in Catalan and Spanish: La guerra dels 40 anys, d'Els Joglars,
Memòries d'un Bufó, d'Albert Boadella and Tres
peus al gat. Diari d'un actor de Ramon Fontserè.
He is Associate Producer of the Els Joglars film ¡Buen viaje,
Excelencia!, a production by Andrés Vicente Gómez
for Lola Films shot in late 2002 and early 2003.
